Sageleaf rockrose is an evergreen shrub growing from 30 to 60 cm tall, with hairy twigs and resinous hairy grey-green leaves. Its flowering from late spring to late summer. It grows naturally in disturbed ground, maquis, phrygana, and roadsides. It is a native of the Mediterranean region.
